AllCells® Isolated Cell Products
Discovery offers a variety of isolated cell types obtained from blood products via immunomagnetic cell separation. These cells are ideal for many life science research applications, including immuno-oncology.
CD34+ HSPCs
Hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) are the key stem cell population capable of self-renewal and multilineage differentiation into mature blood cell types. CD34+ HSPCs can be isolated from mobilized peripheral blood, bone marrow, and umbilical cord blood.
T Cells
T cells are the main effector cells of the adaptive immune system, characterized by the presence of a T cell receptor (TCR) on their cell surface. T cells recognize foreign antigens in the context of major histocompatibility complex molecules on antigen-presenting cells. There are three main types of T cells: cytotoxic, helper, and regulatory.
NK Cells
Natural killer (NK) cells are cytotoxic effectors of the innate immune system with a primary role in immunosurveillance. They are capable of mounting rapid immune responses against foreign pathogens and tumor cells. Primary CD56+ NK cells can be isolated from leukapheresis material from leukopaks via positive or negative immunomagnetic separation.
Monocytes
CD14+ monocytes are large agranular myeloid-derived leukocytes with roles in the inflammatory and anti-inflammatory processes of the innate immune response. They can differentiate into macrophages and dendritic cells (DCs) responsible for phagocytosis, antigen presentation, and cytokine production.
B Cells
B cells are part of the adaptive immune system with a role in humoral immunity. B cells produce antibodies, function as antigen-presenting cells, and also secrete immunomodulatory cytokines. Primary CD19+ B cells can be isolated from leukapheresis from leukopaks via positive or negative immunomagnetic separation.
PBMCs
Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) are mononuclear cells (MNCs) isolated from peripheral blood, including lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, and NK cells), monocytes, and dendritic cells. MNCs can also be isolated from leukopaks when high numbers of MNCs are required.
AllCells® Matched Immune Cell Subsets
Discovery’s AllCells® Matched Immune Cell Subsets provide a consistent source of starting materials from a single donor, enabling well-controlled studies and the generation of high-quality, reliable data in CGT, immunotherapy, infectious disease, and vaccine development.
- Matched CD3+ Pan T Cells & CD19+ B Cells
- Matched CD3+ Pan T Cells & Mononuclear Cells (MNCs)
- Matched CD4+ Helper T Cells & CD8+ Cytotoxic T Cells
- Matched CD3+ Pan T Cells, CD56+ NK Cells, & MNCs
By removing donor variability, our ready-to-use cryopreserved matched subsets facilitate accurate evaluations of drug efficacy and safety, execution of co-culture and cytotoxicity studies, and in-depth investigations into immunomodulation, memory generation, and complex cellular interactions.
