AllCells® PBMCs
Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) are isolated from Leukopaks and consist of T cells (CD3+, CD4+, CD8+), B cells (CD19+), NK cells (CD56+) and monocytes (CD14+). All cryopreserved PBMC inventory has been immunophenotyped by flow cytometry and the data is readily available upon request. Aside from the leukapheresis process, Discovery also offers PBMCs isolated from a donor’s whole blood for donor screening purposes.
PBMCs are important medical research tools in a multitude of areas, including immunology, infectious diseases, disease modeling, biomarker identification, and personalized medicine.
