Umbilical Cord Blood is a rich source of primitive CD34+hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells reported to be more naive with a higher proliferative, engraftment and multipotent potential than those isolated from adult bone marrow. Because of these attributes, cord blood can be a great tool for applications where bypassing HLA mismatch is required. AllCells offers cryopreserved cord blood CD34+ isolated cells from a single umbilical cord or from multiple cord blood units for mixed donor products.
MNC – Mononuclear cells isolated from whole cord blood
(HSC) CD34+ PS – Isolated cells positive for CD34. Phenotypically characteristic hematopoietic stem cells. Isolation by magnetic microbead positive selection.
(T) CD3+ NS – Isolated cells positive for CD3. Phenotypically characteristic of pan-T cells. Isolation by magnetic microbead negative selection.
(T) CD4+/CD45RA+ NS – Isolated cells positive for CD4 and CD45RA. Phenotypically characteristic of naive T cells. Isolation by magnetic microbead negative selection.
(T) CD8+ NS – Isolated cells positive for CD8. Phenotypically characteristic of cytotoxic T cells. Isolation by magnetic microbead negative selection.
Cord Blood products are collected from a single umbilical cord. Multiple cord blood units may be combined during processing for mixed donor products. AllCells Cord Blood products are offered cryopreserved and in the format of Isolated Cells. CD34 Hematopoietic Stem and Progenitor Cells (HSPCs).

Cord Blood units are collected from donors following IRB-approved protocols. CD34+ cells are isolated using a positive immunomagnetic bead separation from a single or mixed (Cord blood from two or more donors) cord blood unit.
All our products are quality controlled for cell count and viability and are determined using a validated AO/PI protocol. Additionally, the CD34+ purity/content is quantified post-thaw using a FACS assay.
